Tacos Anytime

Happy Taco Tuesday!! Ever since we moved to Texas we have been bombarded with TACOS. Everyone would ask, “Have you been to this restaurant? They have the best tacos.” Or, “Would you like some breakfast tacos?” I had never heard of breakfast tacos before moving here. In Alabama tacos are heavy and greasy and either for lunch or dinner and I wasn’t a fan.

Well I think since we’re closer to Mexico now they serve the true tacos. So now we’ve learned to love them and make them at home. I love fresh, clean, healthy tacos and we make them all different ways now. We still choose to make ours at home because you know what you’re actually eating and can control ingredients such as salt and oil.

We have found our favorite tortillas at Whole Foods- 365 brand. They are corn tortillas and only 3 ingredients: corn, filtered water, and a hint of lime. They are less than $2 for a pack of 10 or so. So cheap!

Here are a few of our favorite ways to make tacos:
